Boston Teachers Union

Overview

In the spring of 2017, I redesigned the Boston Teachers Union website with a small distributed team at ForwardJump Marketing.

Before and after the redesign

The BTU website is a large and complicated resource, packed with different kinds of information for union members, community members, press, and more. For the redesign, the information architect and I worked together to reorganize and prioritize site content based on analytics.

I also worked to refresh the visual design of the site, updating the color palette and typography while referencing familiar elements from the old website.

The goal was to reforge the BTU website as a fully responsive and intuitive new hub for the more than 10,000 represented union members and community stakeholders.
